Director and lead actor Johnny Greenlaw won for “Best Actor” and “Best Writer,” while the film was named “Best Drama” at the Malibu West International Film Festival; moreover, actor Bill Sorvino took home the award for “Best Supporting Actor.”
Finally, singer-songwriter Paulo Coelho won the award for “Best Score” for furnishing the musical score for the film.
At the 2016 Long Island International Film Expo, it received the “Audience Award” for “Best Film,” and it was also named “Best Feature Film” at the Manhattan Film Festival.
Aside from Greenlaw and Sorvino, Mommy’s Box also stars Kelly Karavites, Carly Brooke, George Papadimatos, Joseph D’Onofrio, David Harris, Jennifer Dorcic and Gina Scarda, among other actors.
