Mike DelGuidice to honor Christopher Raguso with benefit show

Raguso was a true American hero. He was a Master Sargent in the Air Force, and he gave his life in service for our country during Operation Inherent Resolve in Western Iraq on March 15, 2018. He was killed tragically in a helicopter crash in Iraq.

Aside from being a lieutenant in the Fire Department of New York (FDNY), Raguso was chief of the Commack Fire Department, as well as a father to two young girls and a husband. Raguso was an avid fan of Billy Joel’s music.

All of the proceeds from this benefit show will go to Chris Raguso’s family. This benefit will take place on Sunday, May 20, as part of “Goose Fest,” at Hoyt Farm Park Preserve in Commack on Long Island.

This weekend will be quite busy for Mike DelGuidice and the Billy Joel tribute band, Big Shot. On Friday, May 18, Big Shot will be performing at The Paramount in Huntington, for a show that benefits the American Heart Association; moreover, on Saturday, May 19, they will be playing their final show for this month at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh (before they return again in August).
