Schulz is the founder of the record label Coldharbour Recordings, which received a “Best Global Label” nomination at the 2013 International Dance Music Awards (IDMA). His music encompasses elements of progressive, trance and electronica. His weekly radio show is called “Global DJ Broadcast,” which is one of the most respected radio shows across all of dance music, thus accumulating over 20 FM and online syndication partners. His special musical guests on that show have included such acclaimed DJs as Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, among many others.
A native of Germany, Schulz has become an integral part of the modern electronic dance music scene. In 2008, Schulz made the Top 10 list of DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs poll, and he has maintained a ranking in that prestigious list ever since; moreover, in 2012 and 2013, Schulz was voted as “America’s Best DJ” by DJ Times Magazine. He consistently plays over 150 shows a year, and he is one of the busiest DJs and producers that are performing out of the United States.
