Platinum-selling electronic artist, virtuoso violinist, and multi-talented entertainer Lindsey Stirling chatted with Digital Journal’s Markos Papadatos about “The Artemis Tour: Worldwide Digital Experience,” and her singles “Masquerade” and “Lose You Now.”

‘The Artemis Tour: Worldwide Digital Experience’

“The Artemis Tour: Worldwide Digital Experience” is in partnership with the premium social live media platform Moment House. The brand-new virtual tour date will conclude Stirling’s current cross-country headlining Artemis U.S. Tour and will air globally on September 23 and 24. Tickets are available by clicking here.

“I was so excited that we got to capture this show,” she said. “It was such a team effort to bring this show to life at a time when the world was still shut down. It was such a special show and it really reminded me how grateful I am that I get to do what I do, which is to tour and entertain.”

“It has been awesome working with Moment House,” she said. “They provide a really great way for artists to be able to create their content and make it a partnership. They allowed me to be super hands-on in the process and I edited it myself. Moment House provided many ways to make it possible. I really liked working with Moment House.”

“We put every ounce of energy we could into this tour, and it showed. I can’t wait for everyone to get to see it,” she added.

‘Artemis’ album

Her fifth studio album, “Artemis” was released in September of 2019 via BMG, and it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums Chart, and it stayed there for 15 combined weeks. Comprised of 13 tracks, “Artemis” racked up almost 220 million streams worldwide, and it turned into a successful six-part comic book series.

‘Masquerade’

Stirling’s music video for “Masquerade” was filmed at The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, California, and the video may be seen below. “It was super fun. I loved making that music video,” she said. “When I wrote it two years ago, I imagined myself dancing around in a beautiful ballroom. It was fun to be on set two years later, and bringing it to life. It was fun to be silly and goofy.”

“The Artemis U.S. Tour” features songs from Stirling’s latest chart-topping album “Artemis,” such as “Underground,” the title track “Artemis,” “Sleepwalking,” “Masquerade,” “Between Twilight” and “Love Goes On and On” featuring Amy Lee of Evanescence.

‘Lose You Now’

The album also features her latest standalone single “Lose You Now,” which is an emotive pop hit about loss and grief, where she collaborates with artist, songwriter, and producer Mako. “For the obvious reason, it is such a special song to me,” she said. “It is really magical to perform the song live too. I feel it so deeply when I play it.”

Ever since its release earlier in the year, “Lose You Now” has accumulated over 10 million streams worldwide. The duo also released an acoustic rendition of “Lose You Now” this past spring, in a raw and organic manner, with just piano and a full-string accompaniment. “It was fun to put an orchestra twist on it,” she said.

The video of their stunning acoustic version of “Lose You Now” may be seen below.

Stirling shared that during the quarantine she learned how to do an aerial acrobatic skill, where she would hang from her hair and she would do a whole acrobatic routine that way. “It’s pretty insane, one of the craziest things I’ve ever done but there was no time like 2020,” she said.

Speaking of aerialists, she revealed that she would love to someday work with Pink as her dream collaboration choice in the entertainment world. “I love Pink, she is at the top of my list,” she exclaimed.

On the title of the current chapter of her life, she said with a sweet laugh, “Just Keep Swimming but with a Smile.”

She defined the word success as follows: “Making my world, and your world better.”

Stirling concluded about “The Artemis Tour: Worldwide Digital Experience,” “I hope the fans will be thoroughly entertained, and I hope that it will bring them joy in whatever it is they are experiencing. I hope they forget the world and experience joy, and I hope they leave feeling uplifted.”
