Jesse Rice to headline Waiting to Hear’s Loud Shirt GALA

Rice is best known as one of the co-writers of the RIAA Diamond-certified Florida Georgia Line hit “Cruise.” He will be headlining the annual Loud Shirt Gala in Bristol, Virginia, which benefits Waiting to Hear. The proceeds from this island-themed fundraiser are used to raise public awareness about the benefits of cochlear implants and to educate area families with deaf and hard of hearing children on care options.

“I am grateful to be a part of this fundraiser,” Rice said in a press release. He went on to praise that the information and options that this team provides for the families of deaf and hard of hearing children as “priceless.” With its recurring island theme, the country singer-songwriter knew that he would feel right at home with this crowd.

His latest album, The Pirate Sessions III, garnered a rave review from Digital Journal and it peaked in the Top 5 on the iTunes Country Charts.

This event will be held on June 17 at Bristol VA Holiday Inn Conference Center Ballroom in Virginia. To learn more about this GALA, visit its official homepage.
