Janet Jackson nominated for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

She is the sister of the late “King of Pop” Michael Jackson, as well as the youngest child in the Jackson family.

Throughout her accomplished career in the entertainment and music industry, Jackson has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, and she has been listed as one of the best-selling female recording artists in America. She wast he first and sole artist in history to produce seven Top 5 hit singles from one album, Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814.

In addition, 10 of her radio singles peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, proving that she is a true force to be reckoned with. These chart-topping singles include “When I Think of You,” “Miss You Much,” “Escapade,” “Black Cat,” “Love Will Never Do (Without You),” “That’s the Way Love Goes,” “Again,” “Together Again,” “Doesn’t Really Matter” and “All for You.”

Most recently, her latest studio album, Unbreakable, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 all-genre charts. This milestone marks her seventh chart-topping career album, and according to Billboard, this makes her the third artist to score chart-topping albums in each of the last four decades.
