Married couple Eric and Sainty Nelsen won the 2021 Tony Award for “Best Play” for “The Inheritance.” Digital Journal has the scoop.

Eric and Sainty co-produced the hit Broadway play “The Inheritance” together. Out of 11 total Tony nominations, “The Inheritance” won four Tony Awards.

“I’ve manifested this moment for as long as I can remember. To have it coming to fruition is a true testament to faith, determination, and hard work. I am beyond grateful for the Broadway community and my Inheritance family. I am truly overwhelmed with emotions,” Eric Nelsen exclaimed.

As a result, Sainty’s mantel now holds three Daytime Emmy Awards and a Tony. Eric Nelsen has won a total of four Daytime Emmy Awards and a Tony as well.
