Review: Tovah Feldshuh is spotlighted in ‘The Donna Drake Show’ (Includes first-hand account)

Feldshuh (pronounced “Feld-shoo”) was masterfully interviewed by Telly award-winning host and TV personality Donna Drake. They spoke about Feldshuh’s highly-anticipated book, Lilyville: Mother, Daughter, and Other Roles I’ve Played. It is a heartwarming and witty memoir from the world-renowned actress.

Lilyville tells the story of a mother and daughter whose narrative reflects American cultural changes and the world’s shifting expectations of women.

Throughout her illustrious career in acting and entertainment, Feldshuh has played such strong women as Golda Meir (Golda’s Balcony), Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (in the past Sisters in Law), Yentl (title role in Yentl), Mama Rose (Gypsy), Polish nurse Irena Gut Opdyke in Irena’s Vow on Broadway, Tallulah in Tallulah Hallelujah! and the “Queen of Mean” Leona Helmsley in Tovah is Leona, among countless others.
