The 2009 Academy Awards will take place at Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Ca. Australian actor Hugh Jackman will host the event, a break from the past few years of allowing comedians to host the Oscars. Ushering in Jackman isn’t the only change tweaking the Super Bowl of 2009 films.
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Sid Ganis said earlier this month that viewers could expect some impressive changes. “It’s going to be a show that takes some bold risks,” Ganis said.
