These performances are entitled “Three Centuries of Love,” and they will take place on February 10 and 17, 2019. They will be Bocelli’s first performance at the Metropolitan Opera House in almost seven years. “Three Centuries of Love” will be comprised of his favorite love ballads, duets, arias and songs; moreover, they will be special guest appearances by international artists that will be joined by members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, under the direction of acclaimed conductor Eugene Kohn.
Throughout his illustrious career in the music world, Bocelli has been recognized for possessing one of the most critically-acclaimed voices. Bocelli has been entertaining audiences for well over two decades, and he has sold in excess of 90 million albums worldwide.
On October 26, Bocelli will be releasing his new album, Si, which is his first musical project of all-new material in 14 years.
These forthcoming performances at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York will follow Bocelli’s annual North American tour, which will take place in select cities throughout the country in November and December of 2018. In addition, Bocelli will be playing shows in February of 2019 as part of his annual Valentine’s Day festivities in South Florida.
