Electronic dance music (EDM) star Alesso ranked in the Top 15 this year in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs Poll.
He is best known for his track “Heroes (we could be)” with Swedish songstress Tove Lo, which raced up the charts in late 2014. On December 31, Alesso kicked off his New Year’s Eve celebrations prior to playing a headlining set at the club by checking out Maroon 5 in concert.
Following the concert, Alesso enjoyed a meal at Kumi Japanese Restaurant & Bar, and then he hit the stage at Light Nightclub right before midnight. After an electrifying countdown, the 23-year-old Swedish DJ continued his set until the early morning.
Members from the pop-rock group Maroon 5 came by to catch his live set in action and pops star Meghan Trainor, who is best known for such hits as “All About That Bass” and her new single “Lips Are Movin” was present to ring in the new year, 2015.
