Joey Amato, the founder of Agency 33 Public Relations, noted that he had this concept in mind for several months. His goal was to get his agency off the ground prior to launching a full-scale tour press division, and for Amato, the timing is now perfect.
Throughout his career in public relations, he has worked with such iconic artists as Lee Greenwood, KC & The Sunshine Band, Tower of Power, Don McLean, Kenny G, and Kenny Rogers, all of which were in tour press capacities.
Amato shared that music sales are not what they used to be, so many artists depend on touring and merchandise sales as their main sources of revenue. He added that his company’s tour press division “will provide services which will directly affect the artists’ bottom line by filling seats.”
His PR firm roster includes such eclectic musicians as Meghan Linsey, Curtis Braly and Joey Suarez.
