Actor Adam Huss chatted about his experience on “General Hospital” and being a part of “Infamously in Love” on UPtv.
Byron Pulsifer once said: “Imagine, dream, and believe in yourself. With determination and belief, you will be surprised at what you accomplish.” This quote applies to Adam Huss.
‘General Hospital’
In the ABC daytime drama “General Hospital,” he temporarily played the role of Nikolas Cassadine for several episodes. “My experience on the show was so great,” he admitted. “It was so wonderful, and it allowed me to work with a wonderful group of people. They were very supportive and consummate professionals.”
“The response from the fans was a nice embrace and a surprise. That was just the cherry on top,” he added.
He praised actresses Maura West and Avery Pohl. “Maura is just the best, I have a soft spot for her. Maura was funny and she made me feel at ease. Avery was awesome too, and she reached out to me even before I started filming and we ran lines together. They were just lovely, lovely humans, and they both put me at ease,” he said.
‘Infamously in Love’
In “Infamously in Love,” a frustratingly micromanaged pop star Ivy Rose (played by Jennifer Freeman) who dreams of an ordinary life finds herself torn between her celebrity ex, the machinations of her controlling manager, and a developing romance with a down-to-earth record store owner.
“I loved working with Jennifer Freeman, she was great too,” he said. “I felt like we had good chemistry onscreen.”
The digital age
On being an actor in the digital age, Huss responded, “It’s great, I am also a producer. I wrote a coming-of-age high school movie called ‘Original Tru’ that is being produced by Hunter Arnold. It is like ‘Pretty in Pink’ meets ‘Scott Pilgrim’. In this feature film, the kid is a comic book artist who sees the world come alive in his mind and people turn into comic books around him.”
Regarding the title of the current chapter of his life, Huss said, “New Beginnings.” “I feel there are many new beginning on the horizons,” he said.
Huss furnished his definition of the word success. “Success, to me, means being able to have the freedom to create what I want to create as a producer and a writer and take parts that I really feel passionate about.”
