Veteran actor A Martinez chatted with Digital Journal’s Markos Papadatos about his 2021 Daytime Emmy nomination for “The Bay.”

He has been nominated for “Outstanding Guest Performer in a Daytime Fiction Program” for playing Nardo Ramos in “The Bay.”

On receiving an Emmy nomination year, he remarked, “I was very pleasantly surprised.  The show wrote some beautiful stuff for me last year, and we got to know the character a little more.”

“It turns out Nardo can be a bit funny –– in a manner of speaking –– and I can play his exhaustion without even thinking about it.  And then, of course, as always: Jade Harlow,” he added.

“The Bay” is available for streaming on Popstar! TV.
