As an old "journo" who got ill and had to leave the trade, I have been writing history-related articles for magazines. I've missed the news, but only wrote a few articles and the occasional photo for newspapers due to deadline pressures which I couldn't cope with due to my health. The internet is different, and I am banging away at my keyboard (no longer my typewriter!) quite happily.
