Oregon woman arrested for $2.1 million tax refund fraud

Salem - An Oregon woman, Krystle Marie Reyes, who allegedly received a $2.1 million tax refund after filing a false claim has been arrested. By the time the fraud was detected, Reyes had allegedly spent more than $150,000 on purchases including a car.

Cleveland waitress gets tax refund of more than $400,000

Cleveland - A Cleveland waitress, Virginia Hopkins, received the greatest tip of her 20-year career as a waitress from Uncle Sam on Tuesday. She is owed a tax refund of $754 but instead she got a check for $434,712.
