A man who led police on a dangerous high-speed pursuit through the streets of Cambridge was jailed. After the chase, he bragged about the pursuit on Facebook and even drew a map of the route he took.
A 20-year-old Calgary man has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle after he allegedly passed in between two cars on an Alberta highway. The driving was caught on another motorist's dashcam and uploaded to Facebook.
The driver took off after being stopped by an RCMP officer for having tinted windows on his vehicle. He eventually ran to the rear of the Leduc detachment of the RCMP where officers going out the door arrested him.
The bike reached speeds of up to 299 kph without attracting the attention of the police. Police in Saanich, B.C. only became aware of the incident after a video taken from the bike was posted on YouTube.
