Sausalito - The rainy and yet summer-like weekend of Nov. 5 and 6 was a busy one for surreal artist Cynthia Tom. She opened her art studio at 1890 Bryant for an Open Studios weekend while preparing for a more formal gallery showing.

Greek man cited in 'surreal' Dali painting theft

A Greek man who is accused of having stolen a Salvador Dali painting last June before making an effort to rectify his mistake and send it back pleaded not guilty to charges of grand larceny. The painting is appraised at a value of $150,000.

New Dali Museum opens in Florida

Clearwater - The opening of the new Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg/Clearwater begins with a surreal procession of dignitaries and entertainment, starting at the former location and ending at the new one at 11 am with the official ribbon cutting.
