President Donald Trump used a conference of police chiefs on Monday to slam the host city as “embarrassing to us as a nation” under the leadership of its top cop, who skipped the event over disagreements with Trump’s immigration policies.

A number of cities have recently voted to declare themselves "sanctuary" cities following in the footsteps of some 200 other municipalities across the country in formulating some form of protection for undocumented immigrant families.

Vancouver - Advocates are pushing for Vancouver to become a "sanctuary city" for undocumented immigrants in North America. It would prevent the Vancouver Police Department from reporting a person's legal status to the authorities unless a crime was committed.

Jamiel's Law is an ordinance that is geared to call for "No Sanctuary For Gang Members" under some California cities Sanctuary City policies. the proposal is meant to deny any "sanctuary city" protection to illegal aliens in gangs.

After the triple road rage murder of three people, it was discovered that the suspect had been shielded by San Francisco's sanctuary city policies as a juvenile felon and previously was protected from deportation.

Months ago it was reported that San Francisco which is a sanctuary city, created ads to invite illegal immigrants to their city and give them taxpayer funded services. They have also been protecting convicted juvenile offenders from arrest.
