The people of this are, known as Jeolchcher under Ambassa in Dhalai district of Tripura witnessed brutal violence by tribal militants for more than two decades. Most of these rural people suffered a lot owing to militancy. After peace returned, normal development works had started and villagers got a chance to manage a daily square meal for them.
