Canadian economy sees biggest jobs loss in nine years

Toronto - It was expected that Canada's economy would generate 10,000 new jobs in January, with the unemployment rate remaining unchanged. However, 88,000 jobs were lost last month, mostly part-time, bringing the jobless rate up to 5.9 percent.
