An Iranian bomber bungled his way pathetically through a bombing mission. After accidentally blowing up his own house, he blew off his own legs after a grenade he hurled at Thai police bounced off a tree and then exploded at his feet.

Tehran -
The Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani, who performed in Ridley Scott's "Body of Lies", has been banned from returning to her home country. Farahani posed nude in the French magazine Madame Le Figaro.

Through an agreement that came as a result of the Egyptian uprising against Hosni Mubarak, Iran has sent two of its ships through the Suez Canal to Syria. The voyage was described as a training mission.

A 52-year-old man who was seeking asylum in Sweden has been deported to the wrong country, after his application was rejected by govenment officials. Instead of sending him back to Iran he was mistakenly deported to neighboring Iraq.

Protesters around the world raced to stop the stoning of a woman who was wrongly convicted of adultery in Iran. The Islamic Penal Code lists stoning as punishment for this crime. A world call for help has been answered and for now her life has been saved.

Iranian authorities have sentenced Sakineh Ashtiani to death by stoning on adultery charges. She says she was forced to confess to her crimes after being subjected to 99 painful lashes.
