Midland -
On Tuesday, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared an emergency for Midland county after two dams breached and on expectations of extreme flooding.

Tropical Storm Humberto's core is passing just east of the Bahamas' Abaco Islands, but it is still expected to bring strong winds and rain to areas ravaged by Hurricane Dorian nearly two weeks ago.

At least thirteen deaths were reported after Tropical Storm Fernando made landfall over the Mexican State of Veracruz, bringing as much as 15 inches of rain, along with the threat of flash floods and mudslides.

Catania in Sicily, Italy has been inundated by torrential rains on Friday, flooding the streets and causing traffic chaos.

Britain has been hit with flooding, as gale force winds and torrential downpours go into a second day on Thursday, leaving thousands without electricity.

Lourdes -
Hundreds of Roman Catholic pilgrims, some sick and disabled, were evacuated from the shrine of Lourdes in France, as the Gave de Pau River overflowed from days of rain.

Port-au-prince -
Tropical storm Isaac is bringing gale-force winds and heavy rainfall to Haiti, and is due to hit the capital on Saturday afternoon, local time.

Belomorsk -
Heavy rains in the Russian Republic of Karelia have left 25,000 people without electricity and have affected transport links in the region. Some communities in the region have been flooded.

With fears of more landslides, the flood clean-up operation in Japan is being delayed. More torrential rains hit the country's south-west on Monday. Authorities are saying that if it rains again, clean-up work may have to be put on hold.

Tropical Storm Lee dumped over a foot of rain on Louisiana and Mississippi and continues on a northeast trek threatening the Appalachian states with torrential rains and flash flooding to continue through Wednesday.

A mud avalanche may have buried at least 500 people in a rural town near Oaxaca in southern Mexico, officials said, while rescuers try to reach the area affected by bad weather and heavy rain.

Heavy rain has caused massive flooding in the city of Riyadh and killed two people. The government has declared a state of emergency as the storm continues to wreak havoc.
