Pacquiao has made history in boxing when he won world boxing titles in eight different weight classes while sitting as congressman of the lone district of Sarangani Province in Southern Philippines. Up to this day no one boxer has broken that record in boxing history.
Pacquiao has been mixing politics with boxing and so far he’s been successful. If he stays active in boxing for the next five years, Pacquiao could be the first boxer to win another world title as a sitting Vice-President or president of a democratic country.
Pacquiao is likely to run as vice-president or president of the Philippines in the 2022 presidential election.
