Our sports column Highlight of the Week is back once again with another video of a wild play winning love from sports junkies across the world.
The Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t the only talented receiver turning heads with his one-handed catches. Landry is also making the remarkable look easy, as was the case this Sunday in a game versus the Indianapolis Colts.
In a fourth quarter drive in Colts territory, Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill dropped back to pass, and looked towards Landry, who was closely covered. But Tannehill rocketed the ball to the only place Landry could snag it…with one hand.
Landry took down the 14-yard reception with a single mitt, as if he had glue on his palm.
Despite the highlight play, the Dolphins were only able to score a field goal in the drive and fell to the Colts 18-12. The Dolphins have been out of playoffs contention for several weeks but the Colts have a sliver of a chance.
Landry is 18th on the list of top receivers this year, with 97 receptions and 974 yards and four TDs.
Landry’s stunner isn’t the only newsworthy catch he’s pulled in this year.
In a game against the Eagles, Landry soared high in the air to snap up a deflected pass, scoring an unlikely TD:
