Hall of Fame wrestler Koko B. Ware coming to Farmingdale

Koko B. Ware made his debut in the late 70s, and in August of 1986, he made his debut in the WWE. He is known for his colorful outfits and he was accepted instantly by fans of WWE all over the world, especially his younger fans. He is also known for his macaw sidekick, “Frankie,” who would travel with him everywhere.

His first big victory in wrestling came at the expense of WWE Hall of Famer Nikolai Volkoff on an edition of Saturday Night’s “Main Event” in November of 1986. While he did not hold any kind of championship throughout his career with the WWE, he did gain success in 1992, where he collaborated with the late Owen Hart as they formed the tag team “High Energy.”

Aside from his prowess in sports and wrestling, Ware is also known for his singing talent. In 1987, the WWE releases its second album, which was entitled “Piledriver,” which featured Ware on the title track, and he even made a cameo wrestling appearance in its music video.

At this forthcoming event on May 1 at Frankie’s East Side Gourmet Pizza, the iconic wrestler will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, and they will have the chance to receive a phone call from the wrestler himself.
