2016 NFL Mock Draft: First round projections for each team

Cleveland has a decision to make this off season: trust Johnny Manziel to get his off field issues in order or find a new young quarterback to build around. With the first overall selection in April, they have some time to make a decision, but at this point, look for Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch to hear his name called and become the new face of the franchise.

Tennessee has a young star behind center, but keeping him upright is a priority. The Titans figure to draft offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil from Ole’ Miss with their pick in the opening round and it could help solidify the line for several years.

San Diego also needs help on the line and the latest mock from Bleacher Report has the Chargers taking Notre Dame youngster Ronnie Staley, but with several needs, don’t be surprised to see a defensive lineman like Joey Bosa get the call in the opening round.

Dallas has struggled to score points without Tony Romo behind center, but this team has a couple glaring needs on defense. Walter Football suggests Jalen Ramsey of Florida State will get the call and the team will move the youngster back to his original position of safety.

One team that has struggled to score points this year is St Louis, despite trading for Nick Foles before the year began. Several NFL experts are now projecting the Rams to select a quarterback in the first round and with Lynch likely off the board, the next QB in the player rankings is Jarred Goff of Cal, but Connor Cook of Michigan State has more experience and could be the player to lead this team into the future.
