After Jerry Seinfeld's real estate broker failed to show he and his wife a home, he decided to look at the home himself--and closed the deal.

Jerry Seinfeld has already paid the woman $100,000 for her 'services,' despite the fact that she refused to show them the property because it was the sabbath..This part wasn't what upset the Seinfelds, the problem was she didn't even return their calls to explain this decision.
So, when they couldn't get a hold of the broker, they closed the deal themselves. But when they refused to pay the other half of the money, the 'broker' took them to court and won.
The Judge ruled that she did in fact 'do some work,' and should be compensated--ignoring the fact that the woman had been paid $100,000 for what is essentially sight-seeing.
The woman's lawyer said that she is "gratified and happy with the decision, and we believe it was the correct one." And I bet she is, the broker for the seller did all of the work and she's getting half of the stake.
