Criss Angel cancels 'Believe' shows to visit cancer-stricken son

World renowned magician Criss Angel has cancelled several of his "Believe" shows at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas to be with cancer-stricken son.

This marks Angel's first time in seven years where he cancels his "Believe" shows in Las Vegas, and he has done over 3,000 performances of "Believe" by Cirque Du Soleil. It was revealed in a statement that his one-year-old son, Johnny, was diagnosed with leukemia.
Angel shared the photo of his son on his official Twitter page, and subsequently went on to thank his fans, whom are affectionately known as "Loyals," for all of their love and support. "Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. Criss," the gracious magician posted.
He also disclosed on Facebook that the news that he was going to announce this week will be postponed. "In light of a family emergency the news I was going to announce this weekend will be postponed. Thank you xc," he said in a Facebook post.
Earlier this month, Angel was honored by the National Hellenic Society.
