Ariana Grande, The Weeknd perform "Love Me Harder" acoustically

Ariana Grande and Abel Tesfaye, better known as 'The Weeknd,' decided to put a new spin on their smash, hit single, "Love Me Harder," by performing the song acoustically.

In the intimate, black and white video, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd slow things down, in comparison to the normally upbeat, fast-moving single, "Love Me Harder," through the single's acoustic rendition.
"Love Me Harder" marks Grande's third single off of her 2014 sophomore release, My Everything, following the earlier singles of "Problem," featuring Iggy Azalea. and "Break Free" which was produced by Zedd.
Since "Love Me Harder" was announced and released as a single, on September 30, 2014, The Weeknd and Grande have performed the collaborative song together, numerous times. Grande and The Weeknd performed the single, for the first time together, initially, on Saturday Night Live on September 27, 2014. The Saturday Night Live performance was followed by the two performing the song at the American Music Awards on November 23, 2014.
In conjunction with the Saturday Night Live and American Music Awards performances, Grande and The Weeknd filmed the music video for "Love Me Harder." The official music video for "Love Me Harder" premiered on VEVO on November 3, 2014, according to Billboard.
Most recently, "Love Me Harder" has been climbing up the Billboard charts, reaching its latest peak position of No. 7 as of this week, according to Billboard, progressing from its No. 9 spot of last week. Thus far, "Love Me Harder" has spent 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
