The news of the show’s continuation was relayed via the TCA Press Tour.
According to details, as with each of the first two seasons, Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes and will once again star Tatiana Maslany as Sarah, Rachel, Alison and Cosima. Further casting details are expected in the coming weeks.
According to Digital Spy, filming on the new batch of episodes will begin this September in Toronto, Canada; with Season 3 due to be aired “in the spring of 2015.”
After the shock finale of Season 2 — which premiered in the US on June 21 and in the UK just a week ago, on July 2 — fans will have to wait to see where the Clone Club goes from here.

Orphan Black airs in the US as part of the “Supernatural Saturday” slot BBC America, the cable channel also home to series such as Doctor Who and In the Flesh.
In the UK, the series is broadcast on BBC Three; however, in 2015, the channel is due to close and move online. As with Dominic Mitchell’s In The Flesh — the zombie drama series that stars Luke Newberry — it is yet to be seen what impact that will have on Orphan Black.
