Posted Apr 18, 2014 by Jessica Jones-Langley
After placing job advertisements for the role, referred to as 'Director of Operations', 24 people applied and interviewed for the world's toughest job which required 135 hour work weeks and no vacations.
The recorded interviews were compiled into a 4 minute video, which shows the reactions of the interviewees after the interviewer explained the various responsibilities and requirements of the role.
The role which called for someone who has a degree in medicine, finance and the culinary arts appears as the world's toughest job and the reactions of those being interviewed are priceless.
In response to finding out that the role required 135 hours a week, which is nearly every hour of the week, one interview said it was "a little intense" while another cried out "that's crazy!" One female also commented that the job requirements were "cruel (and) a sick twisted joke."
The video's conclusion is very heart-warming when it reveals that there is currently someone holding the position.
The video, which has been viewed over 12 million times on Youtube, is the work of Boston agency Mullen who created the video for Cardstore.com.
