Once the most electrifying running back in the NFL, Chris Johnson now finds himself out of work and looking for a new home for the 2014 football season.

The 28-year-old has rushed for over 1,000 yards in each season he's been in the league, including over 2,000 yards rushing back in 2009, but the veteran back was released by Tennessee this week and now will look for new team.
Reports have stated that the former East Carolina star is looking for a new contract sometime soon, possibly this next week and several teams are expressing interest, including the Denver Broncos.
Denver lost starting running back Knowshon Moreno to Miami and have just two young backs in the running for the starting job, but adding a player with the speed and hands of Johnson makes sense, but only if the two sides can agree on money.
Johnson has struggled since the Titans quarterback problems started as opposing defenses keyed on the All Pro, but now a move to a team like Denver could resurrect his NFL career and playing with a quarterback like Peyton Manning would only increase his chances for success.
Another team that could use the former first round pick is the NY Jets, but with a young quarterback likely leading the team, a move to the Broncos is probably best at this stage of his playing career.
