Grammy winner Ricky Skaggs to play concert in Connecticut

Country and bluegrass vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ricky Skaggs will be playing in Wilton, Connecticut on January 12.

Skaggs will be performing at The Arts at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, along with his band, Kentucky Thunder.
Throughout his musical career, Skaggs has won 14 Grammy awards, as well as 7 Country Music Association (CMA) awards, including a win for "Entertainer of the Year" in 1985. In 2003, he was listed at No. 37 on CMT's "40 Greatest Men of Country Music."
As a musician and vocalist, he has worked with some of the greatest names in the country genre including Clint Black, Martina McBride, Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss, Patty Loveless, Marty Stuary, Pam Tillis, Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam, among others.
