The first trailer, a not safe for work (NSFW) Red Band trailer, has been released for the upcoming 2014 romantic comedy called That Awkward Moment. So far, the trailer does show somewhat sexually explicit material such as Zac Efron in an “awkward position” when having to drain the trouser snake; but, no actual physical private parts are shown. Remember, this is a Red Band trailer; be careful as this trailer is definitely NSFW. This movie is due to hit theaters January 31, 2014. It stars Zac Efron (The Lucky One & High School Musical), Michael B. Jordan (Friday Night Lights & The Wire), and Miles Teller (Project X and 21 & Over).
This is an awkward romantic comedy focusing on three friends (portrayed by Efron, Jordan, and Teller). The three of them decide to be bachelors due to Jordan's character breaking up with his girlfriend; then, it gets more awkward and compromising when Teller's character gives them all Viagra before going out drink and party. But, Efron's and Teller's character break the agreement when they find love while Jordan's character seemingly remain single. In short, the trailer shows that nothing is planned and that the important defining moments in life are unplanned. From what the trailer shows, the awkwardness of the situations those three friends end up in drive the humor behind the story.
While the trailer is out, remember that it's NSFW. Make sure you're old enough to watch the trailer first. This is not the first time Efron has done adult-themed comedies. He has another film, in post-production, called Neighbors which comes out May 9, 2014. Efron stars alongside Seth Rogan and Rose Byrne.
