A woman suffered burns to her stomach late Tuesday after confronting an intruder in her garage.
A Shreveport woman heard noises in her garage last night about 9:15 pm. She went to see what the noise was and found a man in her garage.
The man who was in his late teens or early 20's threw gasoline on her and set her on fire. He then ran from the garage.
She suffered burns to the right side of her stomach, not life threatening. She was treated in the hospital and released.
The young man is described as wearing black pants, a white t-shirt and low haircut. No other details of the suspect have been released.
The suspect has not been caught. Police are asking anyone with any information to contact them.
