The great things you learn in CPR classes pay off!! Whether it is a human or animal.
How great! I once saved my own dog from drowning, and I was only 11. It is amazing how much of your life they become, and how some people would do anything for them.
Great thinking and fast action on Randy Gurchin's part helped save this baby bulldog.
He closed her mouth, put his mouth over her nose, breathed air into her lungs and pushed on her chest, and after about a minute she began shallow breaths.
I am glad this was a happy ending for Lucy!!
By Friday, a week after her ordeal, Lucy was back to normal, said Gurchin, a pilot who retired from the Air Force two years ago.
