TORONTO, Aug. 15, 2012 /CNW/ - On Monday, August 20, Toronto Pearson
will kick-off festivities for Scotiabank BuskerFest, celebrating a
signature local event and a new partnership with North America's
largest busker festival, in support of Epilepsy Toronto.
Featuring silent comedy, daredevils, jugglers and more - airport guests
and media will experience some of the very best in international street
performances at the Scotiabank BuskerFest Kick-Off event taking place
in Terminal 1 Departures. Guests will delight in a number of acts
including Canadian juggler, Dawn Dreams, who will perform contact
juggling with her crystal ball, and Chinese pole performer, Pancho
Libre, whose acrobatic, mind-boggling feats will leave guests
astounded.
To further mark this longstanding event, beginning on August 16, airport
guests can "Check in for Charity" to the airport's FourSquare and
Facebook sites using their mobile devices, and for every check-in,
Toronto Pearson will donate $1 to Epilepsy Toronto.
