Mississauga Podiatrist/Chiropodist Incorporates New Procedure Into Office

Mark Bradley and Marilyn Bradley, Podiatrists/Chiropodists in Mississauga, ON, provide patients with Pedigait High Speed Digital Video Gait Analysis for improved diagnosis of foot biomechanics.
MISSISSAUGA, ON, July 01, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Since March 202, Mark Bradley and Marilyn Bradley, Mississauga podiatrists/chiropodists, has been incorporating Pedigait High Speed Digital Video Gait Analysis to their clinical biomechanical examinations at Brantford Podiatry and Mississauga Podiatry. Initially, Mark and Marilyn Bradley will be providing this service free of charge as they complete clinical trials, which have already proven to be invaluable in several unexpected ways.
"We are excited to offer our patients a new procedure for gait analysis. PediGait allows us to recommend better, more precise treatments for our patients, which allows us to successfully help keep their feet healthy and happy," stated Mark and Marilyn Bradley, podiatrists/chiropodists in Mississauga, ON.
Utilizing what a terrific visual tool, Mark and Marilyn Bradley, chiropodists/podiatrists in Mississauga, realized they were able to better explain the complex functional anomalies causing the individuals foot pain or imbalance. This hope has been fulfilled and without exception, those patients who have-to date-viewed this technology have been appreciative of this new ability to visualize their own dysfunction, and have it explained frame by frame in crystal clarity.
The enhanced effect of the Mississauga gait analysis tool has further expanded the understanding of individuals' gait and anomalies. With the amount of detail revealed, Mark and Marilyn Bradley are able to be diagnosticians, which enables them to propose even better and more effective treatment plans for their patients.
With the new gait analysis in Mississauga, Mark and Marilyn Bradley, in addition to their clinical assistants, four high-speed digital video cameras capture every angle with extreme clarity. The video footage is then stored in a file that enables them to review it at the end of the day, frame by frame, or in slow motion. Additionally, they can apply overlying grids for further investigation, draw lines to measure symmetry, and apply land markers to body locations.
The PediGait system can also be utilized to perform comparisons on the same subject from different captures, such as pre and post-surgery, post orthotic intervention, post footwear change, and following orthotic modification. This tool can ultimately be utilized to provide quantifiable measures of these interventions and, in the long run, allow Mark and Marilyn Bradley to make even better treatment recommendations, such as Mississauga orthotics, for their patients based on actual results.
"We look forward to offering our patients the opportunity to see what they have been missing. In the meantime, we encourage our patients to view the online video to gain a greater understanding of a terrific diagnostic tool that we are delighted to bring to them," said Mark and Marilyn Bradley, Mississauga chiropodists/podiatrists.
