Employees of FreightCenter can now connect and check in with their children during virtual school.

FreightCenter has created a virtual communication room known as the “Think Tank,” so employees can connect with their children who are doing online school during work hours. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, digital learning is prominent for many families and their children this school year. FreightCenter elected to make the eSchool workstation accommodation for its employees, so they can make sure their kids are adapting to the fully online learning experience positively.
“Family plays a huge role for us at FreightCenter,” said Matt Brosious, CEO of FreightCenter. “We all see one another as family when we’re here at work, and we always look for ways to give back to our employees and empower them with support and resources.”
Ali Choiniere, FreightCenter’s COO, stated, “We have a saying here, ‘FreightCenter is family.’ We care about one another not just as co-workers or colleagues, but as family all on the same team. What the Think Tank does is keep families at the forefront of our minds.”
FreightCenter employees can use the Think Tank during breaks, which utilizes the Zoom platform to help them stay in touch with their children during the school and workday.
