R.P. Johnson & Son has called for community support and New Hampshire has answered

>PRWEB.COM Newswire

Andover, NH (PRWEB) June 24, 2011

Seeing the rush of volunteers, sponsors and donated materials show up, at 8am on Saturday June 25th at R.P. Johnson and Son in Andover, NH for the We Build it Forward Outreach event will be a powerful testament to the unity and giving nature of this NH community, but no more than the outpouring of support they have already seen from area businesses and citizens in the form of thousands in event sponsorships and material donations and dozens and dozens of volunteers. Notable team leaders include special support from Bonin Architects of New London. Sponsors who went well over the call of duty include: Marvin Windows and Doors, A.W. Hastings, Co, Inc., Old Hampshire Designs and The Lions Club of Sunapee.

More than 2 months ago, R.P. Johnson & Son, Inc. announced their aggressive campaign to give back to the community regularly by uniting caring citizens and businesses to serve neighbors in need. In celebration of the company's 110-year anniversary this one full day kickoff event and outreach program has been dubbed “We Build it Forward” by R.P. Johnson’s outreach event partner and Manchester, NH marketing and consulting firm Innerspire.

Nate Lindquist, the CEO of Innerspire had this to say about the project, “We’re on a mission to change the core definition of marketing and running a business from “what can I get” to “how may I serve”. When we brought our ideas for We Build it Forward to company president Steve Johnson and his team at R.P. Johnson, we knew that their years of giving and serving aligned perfectly with our innovative approach to connecting with their community. We couldn’t have been more thrilled with their enthusiasm and support for this new idea. The support from everyone is humbling and breathtaking.” As both the marketing and creative support for the event and as an event sponsor, Innerspire’s team and their CEO, Nate Lindquist, have worked closely with volunteers, sponsors, team leaders and the tireless and hard working R.P. Johnson & Son team, to bring this campaign together successfully.

Since the outset of the campaign, about 75 volunteers from as far as Nashua, NH have signed on to join together as skilled and unskilled volunteers. They’ll head out on the town from R.P. Johnson’s Andover headquarters at 8am Saturday, June 25th and tackle nearly a dozen charitable projects for people and organizations in town who really need the help. While sharing his unique GIFTS™ Formula approach to marketing and culture shifting system, Lindquist noted, “What a sight it will be as everyone shows up to help their neighbors. This is the manifestation of my vision for the GIFTS Formula. You take a great company, with wonderful people and show them a new way to serve others, while still growing their business. It’s really coming together.”

The amazing list of projects confirmed so far include: replacing the roof on a mobile home in Sunapee, NH, building a handicap ramp, installing 2 storm doors and doing a yard cleanup in Sutton Mills, cleaning up Wadleigh State Park in North Sutton, building a bulletin board at a transfer station in Andover, NH, remodeling a bathroom, painting and repairing a picket fence at East Andover Preschool, replacing a bulkhead basement door in Andover, building a 60 foot Allan Block retaining wall, framing up walls and ceiling joists, installing windows and doors, and removing a 70 foot walnut tree in Franklin, NH and painting the trim and doing yard work for a home in Andover, NH.

Johnson & Son is expecting to make the We Build it Forward™ Day of Giving challenge their larger, annual event to serve the community.
