Diesel Truck repair shop AMG Services expands facilities and announces roadside assistance.

ATCHISON, Kan., May 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- By Arnold Perry

AMG Services diesel truck repair recently announced plans to expand their business by buying recently vacated garage space adjoining their current location. In addition to buying new equipment and hiring additional mechanics, AMG Services also announced that they will purchase a heavy-duty truck and begin to offer roadside assistance.

Owner of AMG Services Vinny Antenucci commented on the upcoming expansion, "We've all worked really hard the past few years and the business has accumulated some extra cash, now is a good time to put that capital to work so that we can offer more to our customers and also offer more opportunities to our employees."

The new garage space will require equipment for three additional bays, and AMG Services says they will be hiring two more mechanics to become part of the full-time staff.

The expanded facilities will allow AMG Services to decrease turn-around times and increase the number of jobs they take on each month.

"We might all have to pull some overtime for awhile," says Vinny Antenucci, "But I'm confident in the abilities of my guys and I know that as a team we're all dedicated to doing the best job possible."

AMG Services roadside assistance will begin with the purchase and outfitting of a heavy-duty truck equipped for common roadside repairs, and may also require the company to hire an additional mechanic to handle twenty-four hour calls. AMG Services offered roadside assistance when the company was first founded, but sold the truck in it's first year to raise capital and allow the company to focus on jobs in the garage.

"We're looking forward to getting back into roadside assistance," says Vinny Antenucci, "Because that's a large need amongst our customer base. I'm going to start out driving the truck myself, but if it gets really busy I'll probably hire one more guy so we can handle calls around the clock."

AMG Services is finalizing deals for the new garage space now, and expects to be fully expanded by the middle of the summer. Roadside assistance will begin once all of the new equipment in the new garages is completely installed.
