George F. Stroebel Joins CommunityLeader’s Executive Team as CFO

Joseph Barisonzi, co-founder and CEO of CommunityLeader, Inc. announced today the addition of veteran business leader George Stroebel to its executive management team as Chief Financial Officer. “With experience as a private investor, registered security professional, lawyer, CPA and a senior executive in both development stage and mature growth organizations, George bring tremendous talent to the CommunityLeader’s leadership team,” said Barisonzi.
Mr. Stroebel is a seasoned business executive with more than thirty years of broad experience over a number of diverse industries, including the financial services sector. He began his career as a consultant and partner with Ernst & Young, working for fifteen years with numerous businesses in financial services, manufacturing, and software including many multinational organizations. Building on this broad experience, he turned to serving as a senior executive with several companies, culminating with several years in the broker-dealer industry, where he served as Chief Operating Officer of Fahnestock & Co., Inc., the forerunner of Oppenheimer & Co., Inc.

For the past several years, George has been engaged in philanthropic service to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Foundation as a Director and current is its Vice-Chairman, while also serving in elected county and municipal positions in Polk County Wisconsin.

He has held certifications and licensing including admittance to the Minnesota Bar; as a Certified Public Accountant; and a numerous securities licenses — 7 (Investment Representative), 63 (Uniform State Law), 24 (Firm Principal), 27 (Firm Financial and Operations Principal), and 53 (Firm Municipal Securities Principal).
