U.S. military plane made ‘illegal entry’ over Venezuela: Maduro

-

A US military surveillance plane made "illegal entry" into Venezuela's airspace last week, President Nicolas Maduro said Tuesday, accusing America of trying to meddle in his beleaguered country.

Maduro said his air force had detected two incursions by a US E-3 Sentry plane -- a modified Boeing 707 with a radar unit on its back -- on May 11 and May 13. He added that his government would lodge a formal protest.
