Ugandan rebels kill seven civilians in eastern DR Congo: Official

-

Seven civilians were killed in a new attack by Ugandan rebels in the restive east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, a local official told AFP Sunday.

Amisi Kalonda, a top official in the regional hub of Beni, blamed the killings, which took place near Mbau in the north of troubled North Kivu province, on the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), who are accused of killing more than 400 people over the last 10 months.
