Every day, every minute, thousands of photojournalists risk their lives to report from war zones and dangerous locations across the globe.

Henri Cartier-Bresson, considered to be the father of photojournalism, once said: “To me, photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event as well as of a precise organization of forms which give that event its proper expression.”
