Paris attacker had pledged allegiance with IS: investigation source

A man who was shot dead Thursday while trying to attack a Paris police station had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group, a source close to the investigation said.

A piece of paper found on the man's body "vows allegiance" to IS and said he was avenging French "attacks in Syria", the source told AFP.
