EU warns migrant crisis could disrupt growth

-

The EU warned on Thursday that any suspension of the bloc's Schengen passport-free zone due to Europe's worst migrant crisis since World War II could disrupt the eurozone's sluggish recovery.

"A more widespread suspension of Schengen and measures that endanger the achievements of the internal market could potentially have a disruptive impact on economic growth," the European Commission said in its winter economic forecast.
