Man dies after having sex with scarecrow he dressed as a woman

Neighbors of 58-year-old Jose Alberto called police to report a foul odor coming from his residence in the town of San Jose de Balcare, Argentina.

When police entered the home, they found Alberto lying beside what at first appeared to be a woman. But it was determined the woman was actually a straw doll, dressed in women’s clothing, with a wig on the head as well as lipstick.

Rodolfo Moure, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office said, “I initially thought there were two bodies but then I realized one was a scarecrow wearing lipstick and a long-haired wig. It was lying next to the deceased and had a six-inch strap-on penis.”

Moure said there appeared to be no signs of robbery or violence in the home, and it was determined Alberto died while having sex with the scarecrow. “We are now waiting the results of an autopsy,” he said.

Neighbors of the man say he was a loner and didn’t have a mobile phone, and this was probably why no one had reported anything wrong with him.

Police say that Alberto apparently stuffed some old clothes with straw, packed very tightly, and then sewed everything all together, making a scarecrow. But neighbors, when questioned, said they had never seen the scarecrow outside in Alberto’s yard.

It’s fascinating to discover what people can do with inanimate objects. For example, a New York man built a wooden dummy that he sat in the passenger seat of his car, just so he could use the car-pool lane to go back and forth to work.

As for Mr. Alberto, authorities have not been able to find any relatives, and though the manner of his death may be disturbing to some people, it was still a lonely end.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear friend Karen Graham, who served as Editor-at-Large at Digital Journal. She was 78 years old. Karen's view of what is happening in our world was colored by her love of history and how the past influences events taking place today. Her belief in humankind's part in the care of the planet and our environment has led her to focus on the need for action in dealing with climate change. It was said by Geoffrey C. Ward, "Journalism is merely history's first draft." Everyone who writes about what is happening today is indeed, writing a small part of our history.
