The ride, which is well-known around the world, broke down on Saturday afternoon, and a handful of riders were stuck on one of the crests of the ride.
A witness said that the car just stopped right before going down a large drop, and 24 people were stranded for about five minutes. Eventually officials arrived and they led them all down to safety.
No injuries were reported, and Luna Park, which manages the roller coaster, said the later on in the day the ride was repaired and inspected, and it was running again.
This isn’t the first time the Cyclone got stuck. Earlier in the season, and on the amusement park’s opening day, the ride got stuck. Riders had to make the same climb down that the riders did on Saturday.
The incident that happened earlier in the season, back in March, left some riders shaken because of how high up they were. However, all of the passengers managed to get down without suffering any harm.
